Privacy Policy
Global Animal Passport Registration (GAPR) operates the Animal Passport app. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can delete it.
1. Information we collect
Account details: full name, email address, phone number, farm name, and national identity number when you register.
Animal records: animal type, age, gender, identification numbers, and other details you enter.
Photos: images you take with the camera or choose from your photo library, including muzzle photographs used to identify an animal. These are photographs of animals, not human face or fingerprint data.
Location: your location when you register an animal, if you allow it.
Support messages you send us from the app.
2. How we use it
We use this information to create and manage your account, register and verify animals, show your records, provide support, improve the app, and meet legal duties. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Sharing
We share information only with service providers who host or operate the app and are required to keep it confidential, when the law requires it, to protect people or animals, or if the business is transferred. Ownership transfer of an animal record happens only when you start that transfer in the app.
4. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.
5. Your choices and account deletion
You can update your details in the app. You can delete your account from Profile, then Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your login and the personal data tied to it, subject to records we must keep by law.
6. Children
Animal Passport is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email request.animalpassport@gmail.com and we will delete it.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The new version applies when it is posted in the app. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated policy.
