Age and body condition, from a single photo.

Price follows age and condition. In a livestock market, both are still often judged by eye. One buyer sees a three-year-old. The seller says four. Body condition is a shrug. The deal closes anyway — and the dispute starts later.

Animal Passport estimates age from a dental photograph and returns a window with a confidence score. A side-profile photo produces a 1–5 body condition score. Neither number is a courtroom. Both are a shared reference: the same model, the same photo, the same record attached to the same muzzle ID.

Farmers can track a herd over a season. Buyers can compare animals without relying on whoever talks louder. Insurers and lenders get a record they can actually audit.

All of it runs on a phone, including devices that cost less than a good pair of boots. The field does not need another office system. It needs a notebook that remembers.

Animal Passport binds a muzzle biometric to a digital record farmers, buyers, and insurers can verify in the field.
